Fish with a Sense of Humor Quote Prints

Sale Price:$8.00 Original Price:$10.00
sale

Enjoy this 4” x 4” print with one of Pop’s hand-drawn flies under the quote,

It is much, much better to tie one good fly in an hours time than a dozen that would be taken only by a trout with a sense of humor.

The quote is from Trout Fishing and Trout Flies, 1957, by Jim Quick. It is found in the back of a journal that Harry K. Cameron, “Pop,” made in the 1960s. Pop’s journal also included 90 hand-drawn flies, one of which is featured below the quote. Choose the fly with your print (in the same order the photos appear):

  • Royal Coachman

  • Noremac (Pop’s signature fly)

  • Adams

See the related products below, which include hand-made leather journal replicas of Pop’s notebook and prints in reclaimed barn wood frames.
